Anyone hear it?
Here's the news link from The Age newspaper... Explosion sends debris flying September 23, 2007 - 9:31AM A loud explosion woke residents in Melbourne's north this morning causing debris to fall on at least one roof and shattering a nearby shop window. Police believe they have found the explosive, which was wrapped in cardboard, along with a concrete pipe and blasted fragments in a 100 metre radius. The items were found in a carpark near Bunnings Warehouse on Plenty Road in Mill Park. Residents have told police a V8 car was heard leaving the scene shortly after the explosion at about 3am. Police are appealing for witnesses to the explosion or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. AAP |

Certainly sounds a bit bigger than the match thunders or 8 shooters we used to stuff in bags of flour or in old letterboxes on footy ovals, they let out a bang and not much else (most of the time..lol)
Adding steel and concrete pipe to it is certainly stupid |
