I wouldn't be too sure that having your tonsils removed will end your problems.
I had them removed when I was about 7, then had glandular fever when I was 17, now I am in my 30's I still get a soar throat and infections easily. |

Two tablespoons of honey in a shot glass, microwave until liquid, as much OP bundy as you feel necessary to add, gargle... Don't drive anywhere for a while.
Honey is a natural antibiotic, rum kills germs on contact. the honey helps the rum stay in contact with your throat. Works for me every time, if you're lazy you can just gargle the OP straight. Regards Dr Tote :baby bott

I had scarred tonsils and used to get sore throats every 4 or 5 weeks. Had my tonsils removed at age 35 and since then the sore throats are only once every blue moon and nothing like they were before.
Run your finger on the roof of your mouth from front to back ending slight to one side at a tonsil giving the tonsil a push If you see pus form then it's time to go. That's what I used to get. It was also on one of those crappy ACA programs the other night. |

Doctors are so reluctant to take tonsils out these days.
I had mine out when I was about 8 and I have to say I don't get a throat infection, a slight sore throat on occasion with a really bad cold sometimes, they leave tonsils in as they are supposed to stop infections. I cant see the proof
