If you want to make friends the first person you need to like is yourself.
Let go of all your restraints, go and do something just for you, something that you really like doing, not what you think others expect of you. Don't go and join a golf club if you hate golf, don't join a dart club if you hate darts and don't expect another person to change your life for you. No one can force others to be their friend/s, it only ends in disaster. But, what you can change is yourself, if you are happy in yourself, it shows to the people you will come in contact with. And people are attracted to others who are happy and good company to hang around. A little self indulgence now and again will reward you with many a door opening. Peter |
