Victoria's new # plate moto "No need for Speed"?

I thought that they would bring out a new slogan to coincide with the end of the run of the current AAA-111 format, which will soon run out as they are now up to Z (but probably not until well into next year). Bringing out a new slogan for the current format, and then changing the format a year later, seems rather silly.

How about they get with the times and put a website on the plate, like most US states do. i.e. Florida has "myflorida.com"

New Jersey in the US has the slogan "Garden State" - same as Victoria back in the 80s.

There's no doubt this new slogan will save hundreds of lives.

I wonder how many people will have accidents while being distracted by reading the new slogans.

I like "stay alert, stay alive"

Its exactly what would, if people would stay alert save 99% of deaths! however it wont happen as its the law that makes people Not alert!

All the red turning arrows, low speed limits causing boredom etc. Look at people around you, they are in their own little world with glazed over eyes.

I may be passing everyone, even going through red light arrows when no ones around(after looking carefully) and speeding most of the time, but I am very alert. :-)

I prefer my plain n simple "Western (random blue and yellow setting sun over ocean) Australia"
