People did run without plates at the event I went to.

Take em off when you get to the venue after scrutineering or something...

the vast majority of people attending will have cameras, best to assume your photo will be taken and that images will be posted on the net. if you have a problem with this put some tape over your rego plate or remove the plates.

Hi Guys

yet again the weather looks suss damnit.

Drivers, please make sure you are on this list:

http://www.v8owners.com.au/forums/du...sid-050130.htm

If not, contact me on 0408-327-007 now.

WSID gates will open 7:30am, enter via competitors entrance, scrutineering people will be on hand until 10am. Probably best to arrive by 9:30am. Call me if you are running late.

Just recapping a few points:
  • Be aware of the WSID street meeting rules posted above
  • Bring an approved helmet, rego papers, drivers license, long pants/sleeves etc
  • No alcohol or glass bottles allowed inside WSID
  • If you are racing a car that is not registered in your name, you need permission to race it, in writing (from the registered owner)
  • Lions club will be on hand with morning tea and lunch
  • There are no shops or anything open in the vicinity
We will post a weather update on the forum sometime before 7:30am. Cross your fingers, toes and everything else, and do a reverse rain dance!

See you all tomorrow.

Duncan

Hi people

I've called the track, the weather is overcast, but looks ok at the moment there. We need to proceed and hope for the best. Its the best we can do right now, there is a chance the weather gets worse and we need to postpone last minute.

See you there.

as you all know we couldnt go ahead with racing due to the persistent drizzle. I will get a new date from the track and let you know within a few days. If you can't make it we'll arrange a refund less the fixed WSID costs (ambo etc, I've been told about 10%). Thanks for making the effort nonetheless, I appreciate it.

i didnt get to try out the new cam, stally and MT's damnit!

Hi Guys

We are booked in for Sunday the 27th February.

If you cannot make this date please send me your bank account details so I can refund money.

I will be asking everyone to re-confirm crew and spectators closer to the date.

Whilst we were booked out for the 30th, some people will drop out due to prior commitments, if you want to be on the reserve list (to race) send me the following details asap:

* Forum Name
* Real Full Name
* Mobile Number
* Car make/model & rego number

Any questions please call me on 0408-327-007.
