Default Re: February 2018 VFACTS: Honda booms as Holden slumps

FOA actually used "One Ford" and its Asian supply chain to keep Falcon alive for a lot longer than expected.

How quickly we forget that Tom Gorman was ready to close engine production and import V6
before Marin Burella had that decision reversed...so that Territory carried the production load.

Once Ford called it a day, the speed at which Holden's local manufacturing plan collapsed
says to me that all the extra billions spent over there added zero to a viable business plan.
