I agree Jap cars do have our measure, I won't argue too much there. But US and especially Euro (considering their pricing here) are simply ridiculously overpriced or just plain ordinary IMHO.

The lower end of market gets buyers based on price and warranty no doubt. Still, I think far too many (and I also mean close to home) just have had blinkers on before even trying.

As poster said ^^, it has just been a massive change of mindset to fit in with fashion.

Nope look at a new Skoda, Renault, or Peugeot for starters.

Don't only look at BMW or Mercedes to support your argument.
