Default Not amused!!!!!

G'day guys would like to get peoples thoughts on the treatment i have had in regards to my BA XR8 UTE 2004 model, vehicle was diagnosed with major problems at 32000k's it had the diff replaced, gearbox and engine mounts also replaced. alternator and starter motor, timing chains, tensioners and cams also replaced, this was all at 32000k's under warranty i purchased the vehicle from jubilee ford@ five dock, with 13000k's, the engine has also let a big end bearing go now at 52000k's, the help(if you can call it that) from ford australia has been nothing short of disgraceful, the vehicle was out of warranty from february this year, my argument is that the bearing problems on these early ba motors was a factory flaw, it has taken nearly 5 weeks to get any sort of reply from the people at ford australia in melb, i am up for $4000 in costs on a motor which had regular documented service history, and was basically told its my problem, (they did offer 50% of costs) which made the total just over $8000, im finding it difficult to justify, why i should pay for a known factory fault(main engine bearings) on a car that i payed good money for when i purchased it, like i said i payed good money for a car that wass meant to drive not break down, it is also the 3rd falcon ive purchased in just under 4 years, i have spent $116000 on supporting the ford motor company, being a ford man through and through this experience has driven me to the point of never wanting to purchase another ford product ever again, would like to hear from anybody that may have had similar a similar situation with ford, in regards to a factory fault as big as a big end bearing letting go,cheers frank
