This might be in right German (not sure), but this aren't right here in Australia. Also, both BWM & Merc have said smaller Turbo petrol engines are the way to go over diesel engines in the future. The German's words not mine!!

Falcon needed diesel years ago. I don’t think developing diesel now (which would take 2-3 years, going on EB4 & Diesel Territory development lead times) is the right next step. I think Ford have it right with EB4 looking 2-4 years ahead
