Well done to Rob Campisi for his great time and huge mph, it is a significant achievement and one to be proud of.

BUT, to answer your question...

The Sarkis Bros ran 6's with a "Pro Street" car about 4 years ago. That car was as much a "Street" car as what Campisi's is.

Yes the Centura, but it was also powered by a Big Block Chev, as far as i can remember it was virtually a Wild Bunch engine. BWARND is a Ford powered by.....Ford. The only real difference[B] is BWARND uses EFI technology to make the same or maybe even more HP than the Sarkis car did.

I hardly see how having a supercharged big block Chev engine makes a car less of a Street car than having a twin turbo Ford engine...

Neither cars are even close to being actual street cars, both are classed as PRO Street and therefore Sarkis Bros got there first. I would prefer to see a Ford do it first but a Chev powered Chrysler beat him to the punch. Simple!

I never said it was a less of a street car. My point was aimed at it being a Ford powered, Ford car. And it's a small block at that.

You asked the following question: Could this be the first 6 second pro street car in Australia?

The short answer is, NO. It has already been done...

Why are you getting so angry anyway dude? I merely thought that since this is the FORD FORUMS, then people like us who are Ford enthusiast's, would be somewhat appreciative of the achievments succeeded by such a car as BWARND. I'm sorry if i asked a question that has already been answered 4 years ago.

Champ, I'm not angry by any means... But if you ask a question, expect an answer.

You probably should have asked: Could this be the first 6 second ALL FORD pro street car in Australia?
