Well, we are now only a few days away from this years "Fords In The Park".
We are keeping our fingers crossed on the weather for Sunday, as it looks like the next few days are looking a bit wet but clearing for the weekend. Here are a sneak preview of a few of the items that are up for grabs this year in the Raffle and Auction, why not come down and see these items and other items on offer. Our gracious thanks to our many sponsors who have been very generous with their donations to support this event. Please come along, have some fun and help us to raise funds for the Children's Hospital at Westmead.... How about some clothing ??? How about some collectable items ??? And talking of collectables, how about a piece of actual race car...... After all that, how about a nice BBQ, whilst sitting in a new chair chewing on a few snacks, all whilst watching the new tint being installed on your ride...

It was great to see the cars out today.. im sure the rain kept most indoors though as only about half the turnout of previous years..
Next year i hope we get better weather, ill start preparing my car from now. Lets push for a bumper turnout next year. A top cause to help the hospital |

Hi everyone, The FTF Car Club of NSW would like to thank all who attended the annual Fords in the Park (2015) event this year. It looked a little bleak to start with, but it slowly cleared to be quite a reasonable day.
There are so many people and organisations to thank, especially our supporters, sponsors and suppliers who came with trade stands and/or donated items for the cause to make the day fun and very much worthwhile. We would also like to put a special thanks out to Sargents for allowing us to hold the event on their premises at The M Centre, Minchinbury, each year, the Lions Club for keeping everyone fed, Triple M (the Rock Patrol & Dr Dan) for keeping us amused and entertained, our valued emergency services (NSW Police and Fire Brigade) for keeping us safe, the Bandaged Bear from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for being associated with helping sick kids, the enthusiasts for bringing out and displaying their passions, the public for coming along and of course the FTF members for organising and hosting the show – a fantastic Team effort. It is always a fun day and on the serious side, we have been able to again raise some significant funds for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Stay tuned for the final tally to be announced sometime in the near future
