EVERYONE THAT LOOKS HERE, PLEASE ANSWER THE POLL
i have a suggestion that i think should be supported as it will save a lot of time and hassles for all involved. i propose that ALL sale items MUST include where they live in the post. ie: state & town. saves a PM or email just to find out and then saves you the hassle of thinking you could buy something when infact its too bulky to even send to another town. just a thought. I think it has to display the State in the title and the town in the post.
There is nothing more frustrating than trying to chase down the seller to find out where they are.

State was required on FF, as FFAU is new there isn't yet any regulations.
I agree with location being a must. Please, not necessarily in the title, somewhere in the post is more than fine cos if someone wants it, they'll look at the thread/post. Don't agree with HAVING to post a price, someone might not know the going price and want offers to see how much they can get for it. |

I agree, a proper for sale section, which requires pics, exact details, prices etc.

Maybe a sticky in the for sale section would help people on what format the for sale should be in, then all they need to do is copy it and fill in the blanks!

I think it should be compulsory, as well as pictures. Both would solve the need for useless posts trying to find out

Pics and price as well as a reasonable description of the item and location would be a good idea. I think it is law though, that when selling a vehicle or engine the chassis/engine number must be displayed.

Yeh but what if you're selling a cam or something.
Who NEEDS pics of that. Pictures will just help you sell the item, better to have them but if you dont then it's your loss. |

I think the "additional info" part is great as ppl can fill in anything not covered by the template. Perhaps put up a sticky in the car yard with this in it (including examples similar to or as written by sylox) PS: will you take $500 for the manifold? |

I reckon a template/form for the for sale section with compulsory fields, it would then feed back in to a simple post with the format as above, would solve all the issue of things being left out, just my thoughts.
