And we won't bring up about what nowadays they call a "Scrum"!

Looks more like a cuddle to me.

When we played League, scrums were make or break and always turned into brawls!

Pussy's game now, all money - no balls!

The problem is that is coached out at club level, when I was playing for club, scrums were the same as the NRL, pathetic. For Bray Park High, you came out of scrums with bruises on your face, bruises on your shins or came up swinging.

While I dont like AFL, i watched a game on ABC2 from 30 odd years ago, and it was brutal. I really enjoyed it, instead of the game today, and I fear League is going the same way.

Yeh that was pretty sad. But then again, we condone the guys like hoppa, and sailor who would actually make something happen.

Not that I watch it much but I can't remember a scrum where the ball was actually contested. I don't see the point. A lot of sports are going soft.
