Default Set top box pin number????

Anyone know what the installation PIN is on the older uec sd set top boxes is?

Have you tried just entering zeros?

From there, maybe you can nominate a combo.

Yeah i did and its incorrect, it says its located in the handbook but i have no idea what i've done with it. I want to change signal input, at the moment its on composite and i want it to feed s-video.

If i remember correctly , it was 9949 for the older sd units. gl.

I think the newer models use a factory preset is 0611. cheers.

SOB, i swear i remember seeing 9949 somewhere before, neither of those numbers worked.

Yeah well i could of sworn that was the number for the older foxtel uec sd units, are you sure you haven't changed the pin on your unit in the past ?

The only other pins that sorta come to mind for older SD stb's are

8272

6666

7942

Although i cant remember what brand units these codes were from though ( i used to mess with alot sd cable unit years back ). You could give them a try , no harm done.

What is the brand name & model number of your sd stb ?
