Iv'e been reading a real interesting book lately. It's called killer next door by Joel Norris. It's a book about 7 serial killers and they were all interviewd. They describe their gory killings in great detail. Very chilling to think that these are real people and it makes you wonder, you just never know if somone you know is capable of such feats. Look it up, it's a good read. Has anyone read an interest book lately? Tell us what it's about.

I like VFL/AFL books.
I am currently re-reading the 1989 Football Year book whenever I do poo. I love reading about Gary Ablett...especially his game ~Round 10 V Collingwood where he had 38 possessions on the wing, kicked 7.4 including that brilliant one on the run. Gary Ablett is the best player I have ever seen since I started following AFL when I started school. |

Just bought Hunters of Dune - will reserve judgement until it is read. The new series dont match up to the original Frank Herbet set... The original Dune is the best book ever written in my opinion.
I am also reading a new astrophysics book that I bought which has a lot of new, freaky stuff in it. I buy a new one every few years. I am also currently reading a very large "History of Civilisations" book which traces the history of human civilisation back thousands of years to now... sounds boring but it is actually fascinating to hear how all of the religions and cultures got their start... Just finished reading some Wilbur Smith novels. And a book about the life of Queen Elizabeth I. That sounds boring too I imagine, but it was actually rather interesting.

Robert G. Barrett books are awsome. I loved davo,s little something there was some talk about it becoming a movie. But having heard anything lately. And how cool is Les Norton what a life that guy has. Untill my mate put me on to these books I had never read a whole book from start to finish. If you like the good Australian way of life you will like these book with the right mix of humour, romance & punch ons. :jab: |

One of the best books I have ever read (non-fiction) is the Richard Branson autobiography...that guy is amazing! Really makes you want to get up off your ar$e and do something worthwhile...he started off with NOTHING!
I love the Rebus books by Ian Rankin (Scottish crime author)...its my favourite series of fiction books....

I dont read too many books, but every week at work I would read up to 10 reports, usually of about 500 pages. Fascinating stuff.

I'm about a quarter of the way through "Unsinkable" The full story of the RMS Titanic.
It's a real page turner, but I love any literature on The Titanic so I'm a little biased.
