Hey
Here's a shameless free plug hehehehe..... Check out my band's dodgy Myspace site, its www.myspace.com/wisegents Theres a couple of MP3s you can listen to, they sound a lot better on CD on a stereo however, and keep in mind they were recorded in the guitarists bedroom and back porch! |

(stolen from blues brothers but it is true) and go play at some pubs and have fun. Nothin better than bein on stage and playin. Good rush. |

So I went to your site, and had a listen.....
Good Riffs, , well done on catching the rather simple 3-4 chords.. It sounds good ! Can the vocals be lowered ( octave ) a bit ? There is a good pub rock sound there, , stick to the music, dont worry about extra rubbish that some people think is needed to get more attention... I can definatley hear the Living End, , and some Offspring, , but AC/DC in there ? ? ? hmm, , maybe the chord work ! How old are you guys ! Regards Craig |

Thanks guys for your support. Hey Dave, dunno where that Lee Harding thing came from, we can actually write our own music, and emo punk? Maybe you can hear a bit of those influences but we definitely don't consider ourselves an emo / punk band in the vein of Thrice, From First To Last, Thursday etc.
Craig, that is one thing about Murray's voice - you either love it or hate it because its fairly unique - makes it easier to play the Darkness! We are aged 18, 19 and 20 and have been together for about 18 months. |

Very nice mate, I too would get one of your albums too, nothing like good old rock compared to some of the shyte that comes out today
I can hear some Bon Scott in the vocalist, and there is some nice guitar and drum work too |

Hahaha that's ok Dave - just a bit used to footy heads at our gigs requesting "Wasabi!" & "Khe Sanh!" lol.
If anyone wants a copy of our EP we have them for sale for $5 each - if you want one send me a PM and I can organise one for you. Cheers |
