Default LAST DAY to WIN a digital SLR camera!

You could win a digital SLR camera (Pentax ist DL) and printer valued at $1140, whilst helping me win one too!
No cost to you, just a few minutes to vote.
(Wanted to update title only, but cannot edit original thread).

All you have to do is visit this link to vote for my two girls, and write a small caption (examples here)!
If you can't think of a good caption, just put anything nice down, so your vote counts for me to win ;) ! Please...

Competition ends 11:59pm, Wednesday the 26th April.

Your time to vote would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck, Brad.

Voting contest: vote for one of the photo's taken at the Bendigo Easter Torchlight Parade Event on 16 April 2005 via www.aapt.com.au/photos and/or Bendigo Advertiser competition coupons, and have the chance to win a SLR Digital Camera and Printer package - valued at $1140. Entrants must vote for the best photo. The person who submits the best literary entry as to why the nominated photo should win will be deemed the winner of the Voting contest. A selection of photo's will be published at the judges discretion in the Bendigo Advertiser every day from 20-26 April 2006.

You have to help me win this now because I dropped my current digital camera this afternoon and killed it.

That's right, it won't even turn on now!

I can't believe it.

It's taken an average of 1000 photo's per month since purchased 1y8m ago, so it's used pretty regularly!

A last ditched effort for some more votes with less than one hour to go!

Closes 11:59pm TONIGHT (Wednesday, 24/04).

Any simple caption will do for your vote to count.

edit: It appears entries are still being accepted after the closing time, so keep on voting...

We won!

We won!

We won!

I can't believe it!

Thanks so much everybody, you have made me, and my family, extremely happy.

My wife received the call from AAPT this morning while I dropped my daughter off at kinder.
They wouldn't say anything to her, so I called them back with my heart in my throat...then the awesome news.
She said our girls received heaps of votes and that we must have lots of friends and family...
We are so excited.

Having a 4 week old, and after busting my P&S on Anzac day, this couldn't have come at a better time!

I didn't think to ask who, or which caption, won, so I look forward to hearing someone from here doing so.

Thanking everyone who voted just doesn't seem enough, but hope that the knowledge of making my family and I extremely happy is.

Brad

Congratulations Mike!

I was contacted yesterday (Monday 08/05) about organising pick up of the prize.

I am in discussions about upgrading the camera (with extra cash from me) because I am a photography enthusiast and was really wanting to go dSLR, but didn't have the spare cash to do so!
So, I am hoping to take advantage of this opportunity to go all out.
I'll find out today!

I remember your caption very well!
But, isn't it Elma Fudd who speaks like that : ? _
Who cares though...you won!

May you can do something like this, but with your caption.

Thanks again for everyone's vote!

Yes he does!

That's what I was trying to get at.

The girls were Elmer Fudd in disguise hunting cheap Broadband plans!

I knew what I meant!

Cheers,

Mike
