Default Whats your first thing you remember from you childhood

The first thing i have etched in my hart and brain is the day came home from a crap first day in year one to find my "Parents in a screaming match that was all about me and that my "mother" hated me and i was a mistake and that she wanted a girl after i herd that all i remember is i walked down to the local river and stayed there for about 4 hours then i went back to the place we lived at the time to find my mother had left to go and sit on the train tracks but she didn't stay there long enough and till this day she reminds me that I'm a mistake and never wanted me.

i have my Father to thank for always being there for me and doing all the thing for me like earn all the money for us but most went to my mother to buy gifts for all the girls in the street but none for me, he cooked the food, took me to school, cleaned the house and help me with my home work.

Thanks guys for letting me get that off my chest.

there is one thing i will never see my mother again because we shipped her of to Kalgoorlie.

Ouch man, that suck a whole lot. Good to see your old man looked after you though. Just remember to look after him as you get older.

Earliest memories? I must have been 3 or 4, playing with my first dog, Bonnie (fox terrior) and watching dad build a perminant bbq in the yard. I guess i had a pretty good childhood.

Geez

People have to realise that this is a car forum and some things are better talked about on forums relevant to subject, or professionally!

I agree laminge..there is some wack stuff on these forums sometimes; to do with alot of topics that shouldn't be dealt with so publicly. FFA is good, but is no shrink.

Sorry to hear cruisin..no hard feelings.

I do not remember anything from my younger days to be honest..I have a very bad memory it seems.

The earliest memory I can put a date on, is walking into Kalgoorlie Regional hospital age 2 to visit my newborn sister.

should have strangled her while I had the chance!

I remember when I was about 4ish, my Dad put me in the boot (with the lid up!) of his HQ V8 Monaro. We had been fishing, and the tide was way out when he put the trailer in to retreive the boat. The trailer was off the end of the ramp, so he put me in the boot to get more traction...needless to say it was my first burnout, and I was right in the middle of it, literally!!!. Man, he really lit up those redwall dunlops...He's gone now, but he did get me onto the V8's...

Dude, that's some heavy stuff to be laying down here.

One of the earliest memories i have is my old man letting me 'steer' the car (early 80s lancer maybe??) down the long driveway at our old house. Upon further analyis of this memory i realise that the driveway was dead straight. Oh well - it was fun.

Earliest one I keep getting reminding about is when I was perhaps 3/4 years old living in Vermont South (Victoria, near Melbourne somewhere, been ages) I snuck out of the house and was caught just before crossing a major interesection to Kmart haha.
The other one is when I was perhaps 2/3 I opened the fridge and picked up and egg and dropped it. :(
I remember my 5th birthday cake, was choclate and covered in smarties, I've got a pic here somewhere of it. Best cake ever, at that age anyway haha.

Sneaking into my parents bedroom only to see my old man going hard at it with mum....I didn't know what was going on...I thought my old man was hurting my mum so I started to cry. The memory has scared me forever.....................

Whoa, Vince!

My first memory is my grandfather letting me sit in the big black vinyl bucket seat of his Charger, and watching him change gears. It was the coolest moment of my maybe 5 year old life, because mum and dad said I couldn't sit in the front seat for a few more years...

Maybe the forums should hire Doctor Phil to make a visit for the day.

We do have a Dr Phil already. His treatment methods often incur the use of road rage, bashings via HSV Manta aerials and the use of a large well, a bucket and some lotion.

Oh earliest thing i remember happens to be falling out of a car. One broken collar bone and fractured vert later. Come to think of it, that may explain a few things.

i remember being pushed through this tunnel towards a light where these big, gloved hands grabbed my head. those same hands then belted me on the *** and mumbled something about a boy. never got to see who it was, but i'll find him one day :
