Default Something wrong with the plumbing!

I just went and had a shower and shave, to save time in the morning for a 6am start. I was just about finished shaving with the you-beaut Gillette-M3 battery operated razor, when the water pressure goes.

After it hadn't gone back to normal after 20-30 secs, I thought the missus had the craps and had put on a load of late night washing, or something else irrational, so I threw the razor in the shower caddy, shut off the water, grabbed a towel... and found no other water running in the house.... but I heard a noise coming from the shower, like a noisy fridge running.

I checked the taps were shut off, but I could feel the vibration through the tap handles, and in the shower head! Next, I thought, There's a leak in the fittings behind the wall!

So I went downstairs, checked where the pipes went through the floorboards... no water leaking... no vibrations felt in either hot or cold pipes...

Then I consulted the missus, she heard the noise, I showed her no leaks, I released the pressure on the hotwater system to pacify her... and we go back up to the shower...where she hands me my still-running and vibrating Gillette razor...

For shaving everyday they're fantastic... Leave it 2 days(in my case anyway) and I'd get a better shave from a butter knife.

And by the way... I have no solution to your disfunctional plumbing...

$19.95 for the handle, 2 blades and battery.

I'm not greek, so a blade can stretch to 6wks with shaving cream.

Replacement blades are around 16 bucks for a 4-pack, at just over 4 bucks for up to 6 weeks use per blade, it's not too expensive.

The old disposables wouldn't go past a week for me, and didn't cut as close as the M3.

I think there was a shaving thread some time ago, before someone yells :

I'm still trying to figure out the plumbing... :nutsycuck

Would be nice not to have a tough beard... If I shave daily, I can stretch one M3 blade to 2 days max... Never got 2 days out of a standard razor. I'm not Greek either...
