it does seem flawed, i don't know many people that are my height and way less weight.
but i guess they do exist :P

6'2" here at 86kg i'm 24.4 - just inside normal.

However I know i'm carrying a bit too much fat and don't have enough lean muscle mass on me. And yes BMI is only one part of an equation which really only works for those of a certain body shape.

190cm tall and 112kg... 31.1 BMI. Apparantley that means I'm obese. *shrugs*

There are too many things that doesn't take into account... like build and bone structure, muscle mass etc.

You can also work out your BMI by this simple math calculation:
Weight (kg) / Height (m) / Height (m)

So me, I'm 175cm and 62kg.

That is:
62 / 1.75 / 1.75 = 20.2

So my BMI is 20 which is good.
20-25 is a good weight range.
< 20 means you are underweight.
> 25 means you are overweight.

Though it doesnt take into account bone size or muscle mass.

25.8, I'm 5'10" and weigh 180lbs, obviously it doesn't take into account muscle mass though, I'm not super fit, but I work out 3 times a week.
