This is a big problem here. Around the bigger "motor" cities like Detroit, Lorain, Dayton, most people have American cars. However, I see more foreign Japanese cars than American cars. Toyota, Honda, etc, are very prevaliant.
Sucks... makes me wonder why people think alot of our automotive workers are getting laid off. Do most people in Aus drive Aussie made cars or is it starting to become like it is here? I think this is a good reason why GM/Ford/Chrysler have began using the employee pricing programs. |

LOL... oh dear. Come for a visit and you will quickly realise that the majority of cars in Aust are imported. Hell, we dont really make that many cars here anyhow.

My parents both own toyota landcruisers, im the only one who drives a ford.
as for the number of cars on the road, probably about 30 to 40% australian made.
