At the end of the track before the finish line there is some white lines that look like they are in the shape of an X.

What is that for?

My car was hitting the rev limiter (nooooooooooooo) about a bonnet length before the start of the big X just before the finish.

there are three beams at the end of the strip, first two measure time between which works out mph and the final beam is the finish line.

Hi Dave, get some drag radial tyres, your 3rd run must have been a burnout off the start line.lol.
your MPH says you should have a mid 13 sec pass in your car.
good work for 1st time out, you must have enjoyed it.

Congrats. It's always good to run the expected times. Slicks are the go. Your mph is enough to net you a high 12 on slicks provided the launch rpm is right ;)

You only need 105mph and dumb luck to run a 12.95. I've done it myself consistantly though.

It was bloody cold or I was..Michaels car needs higher rpm converter to go faster..Though he run his best time of 11.6...

I think its an Organised day. My sisters fiancé’s dad invited me. He knows the guy that is organising it. He'll be there in his 3 week old LS2 HSV Maloo and his brother will be there in his VX SS ute with tricked up auto, uni-chip and big $$$ brakes. Its on Wednesday.
