i think this deserved it's own post John Mihovetz's Accufab Mustang ran a 6.08@236 a couple days back this is the quickest pass by a Ford DOHC motor ever. i also believe this may be the fastest pass using factory cast blocks and heads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNPNxbEQX8Y amazing achievement, showcasing just what can be done with these engines. well done John and Crew.
some specs 4.6L (282ci) Ford Mustang alloy block has some mod tweaks of course GT Supercar heads, ported, still runs factory lifters/rockers Dry Sump 4-speed Lenco 2500lbs (Top Doorslammers weigh 2700lbs but have 520ci) twin 80mm Precision turbo's 2500hp@50psi 11.25:1 compression, Q16 Race fuel. |
