I hav an AUII 2001 Fairmont Ghia. Had some mechanical work done on it by a garage. When car picked up, the sound system was locked. Only displays "CODe". Obtained the code from a Ford dealer. But when entering the numbers, they are not displayed. Even left with the dealer for a day. Hav tried leaving with accessories and system on overnight, but still same. Dealer has advised will cost $280 to remove system, send to Melbourne, reset and reinstall it.
Are there any other quick / cheaper fixes ? Or should I just buy another head unit without a code ? Thanks Brad |
