Hi all,
Just wanting to know if anybody has played the Need for Speed games and toyed with the “tuning/paint” section of the game (lowering car, adding rims, etc)? How much time, effort and cold hard cash would go into such a section? Would it be possible to build a pc program like this and if it is, what would be involved? Thanks! |

You mean if you say made a 3D model of your own car and have a bunch of bodykit templates which you could customize to fit your car? I can imagine it being a hell of alot of work as you would have to have dimesions of the car inc the parts you want to replace. with the 'aftermarket' body parts you could probably program them to be stretchable etc so as to get the best fit.
Yes it would be possible but if your an amateur designer or whatever you would call the guy who makes these programs its not going to be easy imo. couldnt give you any more info sorry
