Hi, was just wondering how old you have to be to drag, and whether you can race and actual car rather than a junior dragster somehow, without being 16/18 whatever. Thanks, Jack.

You can race Junior dragster at 8 until your 16
Then strangely you cannot race again unit you turn 18 in a full size car. You dont need a road licence but do need an ANDRA licence. If you want to race at a street meet you will need a road licence and min age 18 years. Thats for W.A. cant say for other states. As far as Im awair you cannot race even with parent permission etc here in W.A. at all, unless its in a purpose built car (Jrn Dragster) or your 18. So if your 16/17 sorry you just have to crew for someone. |
