I have been working 15 days straight, sitting Sunday Afternoon on day 16 in my dreary office drafting argument in a case I HATE/DETEST, and just keep hearing weekender v8s being driven joyfully outside by their owners on a lovely Sunday arvo...…
It sucks for you because...?-humour light misery..."

Pricks- I feel like when I was a kid and all my mates were outside on zip lines and massive 35 metre rope swings in park across road, and I was stuck inside doing maths and Latin homework.
41 years later and nothing has changed for me....

Days like last Wednesday suck for me. It was a long one and not mentally difficult, but labour intensive. Im not looking for the overtime for reasons i wont get into, other blokes are stinging for the cash. I only get thrown the big jobs like that purely because i have the tools. Im works tool slut. Work banned borrowing personal tools and i agree, nothings worse then lending something and getting it back trashed, broken or just not at all. But still, a socket set (or 2 in my case) isnt just a mechanics tool. Im not a mechanic, but its not unreasonable for an electrician to have one and some ring spanners. But only 1 other bloke who has a socket set got roped into the job also. The kicker being his set only goes to a 19mm. When your set only goes to 19, youre guarenteed to need a 21. Yes i have all sizes up to 24mm and a 30 and 32.

If you did you would most likely not had a diff bush in a state to hold it all together - assuming you have a Ford with the mang juice

Two days of migraine fluctuating between bad and worse, not impressed, especially when the squeeze is on to do lots of stuff.

It sucks because I can’t walk down the footpath anymore without tripping over a green E bike or equivalent that some environmentally progressive yahoo has left parked across the footpath or worse still out the front of my place. Saw one a few months back left right across the footpath outside the train station for everyone to walk around. I guess pedestrians don’t count. They’ve been not so obvious lately perhaps they are going under?

We had an huge molten metal explosion at work the other day that nearly took out several employees... very lucky for them a coffee break at the right time.

It sucks because 98 is $1.87/L at the moment - cost $135 to go to work and back 2.5 times
I found a receipt in my car from this time last year, I paid $1.28/L for 98 in 2017, bring back 2017! |

It sucks because you spend a million bucks on the GT to make it invincible and you get the best suspension for any condition handling , the best polishes and waxes and ceramic hoo ha products so the paint is sealed up tighter than a fishes @ss and nothing sticks to it , the best wet (and dry weather grip) tyres money can buy so you dont slip anywhere ..... but then its a wet day so you freak out cos you don't wanna drive in the wet ......

My main bathroom toilet has had what is called a phantom flush. For those who don't know what that is, basically the outlet leaks into the bowl over a period of time and it refills as if it were flushed.
So today I ripped it apart so I can't ignore that I have to fix it, as I have been really lazy about it. Already know what I need to get. But it sucks because I have been drinking a few beers and keep walking into the main bathroom as a habit so have to backtrack to the ensuite. First world problems |
