HAHAH doesnt work real well though.
I searched for tooheys new in orange. Apparently only one place sells it and it was priced at a LOW $42.00. : P.S, You can actually pick up tooheys new for around $35 - 37 a carton here

Dan Murphys Rocks - BWS and others alike have marginally ok prices only when on special - and then Dan Murphys have the same price normally anyway
I was at a BWS a while ago and they were selling Corona 6 Packs for $21 WTF or 30 Can Tooheys New for $52 - so bad |

It is pretty inaccurate, says the cheapest Carlton Draught is $32 when you buy two slabs but I know Dan Murphy's has them for $31.50 and you don't need to buy two to get that price.

Ok in my defense i was a fan of the boags, but i had one at a restaurant the other night and it tasted bland and uninspiring. Was a big fan of Heineken's and Peroni's also, but for some reason i have gone off crisp beers - : Ive been digging bitburger lately - they seem to have more depth : |

Also didn't list some of the finer ales...only the common garbage. What is it with the term "Blonde" with beer. It's almost as gay as Corona.

I think a lot of the Aussie "Blondes" are low carb beer. So, yes, they are gay, or American-esk like! Oh, and by the way, BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths Liquor, etc, all owned by Woolworths.

Secondly, yes, some Belgian beers are called Blond(e), but they are wheat beers. Wheat beers are very good at this time of year too. Hoegaarden is nice, but it's a ripoff. There are also some Blond(e)s that are not wheat beers but also not low carb. I think the term is used a little too much for my liking now. Let the Belgians use the term for making quality. Let us keep making crap (with some exceptions of course).

If you drank it prior to this year (or was it last year?) then yes, it would have been made in Holland. Lion Nathan was the first company to get the rights to brew Heineken outside of Holland.

It claims that I cant buy a bottle of Bundaberg Rum in Paraburdoo. Guess I'm just going to have to prove it wrong.

Reason why the prices are dearer at times on the site is the booze shops aren't sending in updated info. btw, Queensland only got on the site a few days ago.
Anyone else here tried out the new Boags Classic Blonde ? Changed from Pure Blonde after they changed the flavour. The CB is not a bad drop. |
