I think they’re sometimes bought and served up in good faith by people wanting to cater for a vegetarian, without actually being one themselves.
Personally I’d rather have (say) tempeh than some butchered soy product supposed to be “just like” a schnitzel. |

Poking my fingers into an SU carb for work, it’s been 15+ years since I’ve had one apart. They supplied a new float pivot pin in the kit, but it’s a bit roughly made - came with a very fine nipple on the end. Care factor obviously very low.
