Sorry Tornado in the test the TE50 out performed the R8 clubby only on the 0-60kmh but close until 140kmh then the R8 pulls away.
But the TE50 won out as a better car to drive due to chassis and presention plus 10 thousand dollars cheaper.

I’ve got the May 99 Motor, the article is a test between the AU XR6 HP, VT Commodore S s/c, Magna Sports and Camry Touring. You will not be surprised to hear the Falcon won! I’ll fire up the scanner this weekend – any other articles needed? I have a shelf or two full of Motor & Wheels mags

I'm sure I have this scanned at home already as I too asked about having it on the aufalcon website.

I also have other AU related Motor articles I can dig up.

The covers of the wheels mags with the write ups & tests. You should be able to get copies from second hand mag sellers for $1 to no more than $3.

The 2nd one which is the October 1998 has the most info on the making & testing on the AU.
I'am looking through boxes of old mags & coming up with 1's I thought I did not have. Its taking time as I'am throwing the one's of interest & not all AU's to one side to look at later.
Most of the 1's I have are the AU1,3 & TE series AU's only come across 1 mag with info on the AU2.
