You're drawing a pretty big bow. I've got them all on DVD but some info on what else happened in that episode would help.

Found it! It is the episode "Brian Sings and Swings". It is the episode where Brian sings with Frank Sinatra. Thanks to Google and Wikipedia. That took a long time!

Lol speaking of Family Guy, last nights episode was funny as.

Peter: "Hey sweet quagmire, you got a winnebago"
Quagmire: Heh, you mean a wanna-bango - heh heh all right. I'm going round the country nailing a different broad in every state"

That episode is the movie-length one, isn't it? The Stewie Griffin Story.

The movie length one starts off with Lois and Peter going to the red carpet

I don't think last night episode is the movie one even though it is longer than the normal 20 min episode

Yes that episode is from the movie, but for television they seperated it into three episodes.

"At Wilkins Hyundai and Subaru, we have Hyundais and Subarus"

: HAHAHAHA.. absolutely love the family guy

One of my favourites: Peter is nailing some red carpet to the floor in the middle of the night. Lois is a bit annoyed and forces Peter's face on the floor yelling "Say you like eating red carpet". Quagmire overhears it and faints, before letting out a small Giggity.

Another favourite was the time Peter outfarted Michael Moore

Just found this...

http://www.familyguyquotes.com/

and another classic scene...

Peter (when he's hungover): This sucks worse than that time I went to that museum. (Flashback to childhood, standing in museum looking at dinosaur skeltons.)
Peter (as a child): Why did all the dinosaurs die out?
Man at Museum: Because you touch yourself at night.

The people who don't know or don't like Family Guy must think we're all nutters

At at the end, after they've just burnt the guns all the little stewies come, and there's a guy that says something about irony.. Anyone know what it is exactly?

From the episode Da Boom in season 2 - "Hey Bob, remember the other day you were asking me what the definition of irony was, and I said.... arrrgh! (A Stewie octopus clings to his face)"

LOL. Adam West is a classic. I like it when someone stole the "st" from his name plaque, so he started calling himself "Adam We"
