Default Rove live, final show last night

Rove cancelled his show, last night being the final. No big send off?
What will be next for Roving Enterprises I wonder.

Don't know whats next for Rove, but I did read in the paper that his other 2 shows (are you smarter than a fifth grader & the 7pm project) would most likley not return next year.

I'm pretty sure 7PM Project is going to a 1 hour format over summer..

As long as Before The Game is back next year I'll be happy

I can't for the life of me understand why he's apparently so popular. What I have seen he has a few chuckle moments but his show is a ratings flop and I find him tedious.

so much hate for one little man. Where is the love?

I didn't mind Rove live and thought it was alright. Good for a few laughs. As annoying as people think he is he has still been through a fair bit. Good luck to him

But the 7pm project i'll agree and call crap haha

Agreed on both counts, his hardly a war criminal.

His going to need some luck as all of the current shows are rather average.

I used to enjoy it but I think the last 2 years or so have been tired. I'm not a huge fan of Peter Helier either so that hasnt helped my feelings for the show

Its a shame becasue there is a market I think for a light entertaiment varity show and as much as thought the show was tired it was still better than the stuff it was up against

Good call.

I think a David Letterman style late show (but on at a reasonable time) would be brilliant done by an Aussie, which is what Rove has sort of been doing.

While I loved the show, I do agree with others who have said the show has got a little tired over the past year or so.

It was a suprise cant believe that he canned it that way, Ive watched it on and off since he began just think it was never the same after his wife died he just lost that spontaneous funny thing he had which i guess is to be expected. Good luck to him I hope he goes to the U.S. and does well another Perth boy doing well

i never found him funny, at all. However it was light hearted entertainment which there is very little of these days. The 7pm project & Before the game WILL continue into 2010.

The 7pm Project, a news-based chat show, and AFL talk show Before The Game, both produced by his production company Roving Enterprises for Ten, will remain on the network's schedule in 2010, McManus said.
