Default Gallant offer sends mum, daughter, 520km to Adelaide

Get a load of this story,

Good to know there are still people out there, who are truly top blokes.

Needless to say, I doubt this lady will buy another Holden for a while

She hasn't got any money for a motel so I wonder how she will pay for the new engine.

What an awesome thing to do.

God bless him, and the lady as well, as I guess she'll need some help paying for the engine.

Nice to see people looking out for others, in this world so full of greed and self-interest.

If you had read it properly, it states:
"I did'nt have money on me for a motel because i'm a single mum"

Would've been cheaper than her little Suzuki Ignis/Holden Cruze on fuel too!

PS What a top bloke.

i read about this yesterday. what an absolute champion. rather, gentleman is more the word. to help someone you hardly know in such a situation like that is incredible, makes you think not everyone is in it for themselves, there are decent people out there.

My cousin who owns a farm here in WA often gets back packers to come out and work for him. He lends them his car from time to time to do the tourist thing.
One time a couple had been gone for about a week or so and he thought he better ring and find out where they were.
They'd gone to Ningaloo and Monkey Mia ( about 1000 kays north) to see the dolphins.
So now he asks where they're going first.
