i am doing a dash swap and found a plug which is just sitting in a spare socket under the demister button, not sure if it is the unused wiring for a clock.
it has four wires blue/red, brown, black, white. any help appreciated. |

That plug wasnt for the clock, i need to know what wire gives a constant 12v.
Question is 'is' the clock on all the time??. Also how can i test the globe in the clock?. |

its for the power antenna switch or the column shift economy switch... it would most likely be the antenna switch socket... good luck finding a car fitted with it though

no luck needed as i'm not trying to find a switch, i'm wiring a clock into where not originally fitted. i thought the extra wires may have been for a clock. i'm trying to establish the wire color for continuous 12 volt to power the clock. thanks anyway.
