Default series III Ts/Te50?

Hi,
Just looking for some help from the AU guys. Myself im an e-series owner but we also have a forte AU, so im not exactly that much of a stranger. Anyway my fav car of all time are the T3's, but what are the main differences between the ts50 and the te50?. The reason why iam asking is we are thinking to trade in the au and upgrade to one of these 5.6l beasts. My old man will drive it around for a bit, then as soon as im off my p's i get it :evil3: (so much for my 5litre EB). What are the price range for both te/ts50's? Would there still be any coverage with a ford warranity on any of the models? what is fuel consumption like on them, im guessing around 15l/100km? How many models were made for both ts and te?

Last question, what colour do you guys reckon we should get? (i wouldnt mind black with a sunroof)

regards

SVT8

$30K should find you one.. but I'm starting to suspect the price is going to stay there or go up in the future.

There's a black ts50 with brembos on the gold coast and i've heard 25k should buy it. Has done over 130,000klms though. All servicing done through Ford with genuine replacement parts.

That's a lot of dosh when you can have an XR6T for a fair whack less.

But that's a different kettle of fish isn't it?

T Series are quite unique and I guess the dream for AU afficianados!

comparing the mass produced xr6t to the hand built T series is like chalk and cheese.. BA build quality is pathetic. Sure you can get an xr6t for a few grand less, but there's not that much difference in price. Also in all honesty i can't stand the AU's looks, but there's something about the T3 that just floats my boat.
