Default Fiesta Is Gone... So see whats Waiting in Pre delivery for me!!

Yep,

The last Brand new one in Oz!! I was Lucky enough to find it and strike a deal whereby my sister gets the Fiesta (She wanted it a LOT and Dad wanted to make sure it's still in the fam), and we traded her car (Lancer Coupe) for the 182 Cup.
In the end I got it for a good price with the gunmetal F1 stripes (Terribly simulated in Photoshop) thrown in as a condition of sale. Fantastic.

It's in pre delivery now, and I will be picking it up next week, and I CAN'T WAIT! I just wanna get in and fang the **** off it. But understanding it must be run in first.. I'm so happy, they have everything! Zenons, CLimate control, leather, Auto wipers and headlights, But I'm sure Teki's told you that already ;) Boy are they QUICK!

Anyways Guys, I'll post some more pics of it when I get it, but until now, that's as best as I can offer while it was in the Showroom. Cant wait!

-Danny

Couldn't get a full picky of it in the small showroom, so I thought I'd be arty farty. Nah Dame, the Fez has been claimed by my sister. I might even still bring it to cruises and such (And definitely SFS 2008). It was one of those cars we'd had since brand spankers that the old man though twas too good to sell, So it stays.

I can't wait to get into it. I am CHOMPING at the bit. But good things come to those who wait. I did originally want a VW Polo GTi and came a bees dick away from purchasing one at least three four times (Advertised at $26,990 Driveaway here, they're very cheap for how good they are), But, I couldn't convince myself that it was a better car than the 182 Cup, even though I had an emotional attatchment to them from my Golf GTi love affair.. So in the end it got the gong from me..

I'll Be transferring my Euro's from the Fez onto it as well, as buying the pompous plates in victoria is a $400 excercise as I told Steve (Teki) on the phone today.

So Rapt. I just can't beleive I have one!

Congrats buddy! Luckiest guy in the country to find a new one! Bastard! It was hard enough 1 year ago, let alone now!

Good to see you got it in the end mate. I'm just as excited as you are :

Glad you made the right decision in the end ;) Who would want a Polo GTI anyway? hehe

Hope to see it soon dude. Love the colour! It was my second preference.

*Just realised my avatar is of mine still in the showroom - one year ago! Coincidence?!

Looks nice

The RSC was my second choice if i didnt end up getting the GTI.
Im glad i chose the VW though. Bit more grown up than the RSC is.

Im sure you will have an absolute blast in the renault. Remember, its a new car so treat it nice for a week or two.

hahaha! It was purely coincidental. I was looking at how much the cars are selling for as I may be selling mine. I saw the first photo and instantly recognised it.

Um, I do believe that ad has been up for about 1-2 weeks before his sister decided she would finally take the Fiesta!

Hyperkid, were you after a new boyfriend? :

Congrats Danny! I heard you got the sweet ride today ;) Good luck with it mate. Safe driving ;) That oversteer can catch you out Oh, but then you wouldn't be doing that on the first night of having it...

Nice one Danny, although I would have waited until the new model arrives later in the year, it looks the biz & makes the current car look a bit dated, oh well....

The new model is the best part of 200kg heavier and only has an extra 15hp. Supposedly it's been "sanitised" a lot too?

Renaultsport Clio 182 = 131kW 200Nm, 1090kg

Renaultsport Clio 197 = 145kW 215Nm, 1240kg

That being said, the claimed 0-100km/h for the 182 was 7.1 sec, claimed for the 197 is 6.9 sec. The 197's got a more advanced chassis (its safer too) and I believe can put its power down better then the 182 could, plus I think they've given it a fatter mid-range then it had before.
