Hey all,
just wonderin what everyones thoughts are on running a sub and amp of the stock head unit. Anyone heard of any problems? |

Got quoted $900 for Type R 12 inch sub in Box w/ amp, fully installed.. Not sure if thats a good price... Any thoughts would be helpful.

for my system all up and installed i paid $1600 included alpine headunit, type r 6½" splits, type s subwoofer, alpine mono block amp and alpine power amp

Im currenly running 2 x Pioneer 12 inch 400rms each subs, Pioneer 6inch and 6x9s ,1000wat mono block and 4 channel amp off the stock HU, and have no issues, except a fader issue. All up subs were 150 each and the rest under 1000 bucks, all installed my myself.
