Default XR6T runs 10's

Well last night a CV PERFORMANCE prepared car run a 10.9@125mph with a 1.6 60ft driven by Vic,which betters there orange T that was the first ever T to run 10 sec pass and this was done with 5psi less and about 40rwklw down but thanks to the Edit software was able to beat the time and with the right actuator and tyres is capable of a mid to low 10 sec pass

Great to see another Ford into the 10's

CYA JEFF

Interesting to see if they can do it.

Disagree on the edit as the reason though... Fastest T's use piggybacks :thebirds:

Get out of the stone age mate C&V ran the 1st ever 10 sec pass using unijip and have said to me many a time if the edit software was availiable when they ran they would have gone a mid to low 10
This car that run on wednesday night had 5psi less boost 40 rwklw less smaller converter and in full street trim with street MT's and still went quicker than C&V's orange T tuned and raced by the same workshop using the same hardware

Enough said,no need to start a uni-jip V Edit war as you would be only throwing stones at a tank

What about the white one from HPF that ran 9's, did that use an edit only ?

No it didn't.

The difference between the two is purely lifting torque tags on ecu, and being able to edit the auto, "environment" functions. Those two alone don't amount to the dribble about C & V T, besides, they shouldn't be looking at 10s, they need to beat 9.9 to make any sort of record....

Are you for real??

Show me a unijip car running near 600rwkw..

Motec was removed from Brians car to fit the edit, that speaks volumes.

The point is the tuning tool is irrevelant...

He may have 600 RWKW, and a 9.9 sec time slip - No...

It's not only power. its using it....

Saying that a 10sec timeslip is because of using edit and not a piggyback is a lot like stating a car will go fast because it's a V8 or a Turbo....
Doesn't mean ****....

No, there's plenty of merit in it. RDP ute= massive power and no traction..

Alot of guys have massive power and can't get it to the ground.

I don't disagree with hoon, just placing a few things in perspective..

You see, I use Xede AND Edit..

Tuning tools are COMPLETELY relevant

Not in this thread, this about a 10 sec pass, if you and Bluehoon want to debate tuning tools get your own room.
