Default Burnt out Fiesta on the news??

Thought I just saw what looked like a 3 door Fiesta burnt out on its roof on the news, some guy pulled a teenager out moment before it exploded. I could swear it has the rear window and cutout for a rear light of a Fiesta... everyone watch channel 9 news tonight to check!

http://www.theage.com.au/news/nation...575656779.html This link shows a bit of info - doesn't divulge the make/model.

Either way, someone just lost his/her licence...

"The teenager was trapped in the front passenger seat of the car after the driver lost control..."

If it IS really a Fiesta, how the heck can anyone loose control on a Fiesta. Either :-

1) he/she was approaching a corner at 180km/h
2) no thread left on tyres whatsoever while approaching a corner at 180km/h
3) he/she has been playing too much "Burnout" game on PS2

My bad, was a riced up Civic. The quick glimpse I kept seeing looked like rear window and tail light cut-out of a Fez.

They said it was going about 100km/h and hit a kerb. Not hard to flip a car even at legal speed when you hit a kerb.

Ah I see, well I retract my statement.

I hope no innocent people died.

LOL! You don't need to be going 180km/h to roll a Fiesta! LOL! 60-80km/h is quite adequate...

The roads are full of bad drivers. It's like driving through a minefield out there.

True that.

I'm always on 100% awareness while driving and try to stay right away from penisheads.
