Pretty nasty stuff- they seemed to come pretty close.

Damn terrorists, why cant they just get along. Governments will go into a panic now and more money will be wasted on security.

Yeah they foiled the plot before it was due to happen, anyone from here getting on planes can only take passport, wallet and thats about it if baby milk is needed to be taken on a fellow passenger has to taste it to say no explosives are in it, in departures shoes are being checked so no bombs can be hidden in them and overall just about every airport is at standstill.

There is something really fishy sounding about all this latest scare mongering. I got no specifics yet but I smell a rat.

VERY VERY good point, i may do that. if i wanted too i could even use the eurostar so that i dont have to fly to frankfurt. Although last time i flew to frankfurt the queues were massive, but i suppose i would rather queue than be killed.

Oil prices fell to below $76 a barrel on fears the security threat might hurt consumer confidence, slowing growth worldwide and reducing demand for oil.

There are already conspiracy theorists saying that it's another setup scare tactic by the Bush and Blair admin as part of the new world order to drum up more support for the Iraq situation

Stupid way of doing it if that theory were true, I dont think they would go to those extremes

Of course its a conspiricy. It was done to hide the fact that aliens from the planet "Nyupnyup" have landed in L Ron Hubbards back yard and are currently negotiating who gets to ride in the magic spacecraft hiding behind Mars that will come to earth hidden in a comets tail to pick up the faithful.

Fox Mulder told me so..

Conspiricy.. Bah. My story makes more sense. If you hadnt noticed England and America have been targets for extremist attacks for a few years now... I think this is rather plausable and probably happened as reported.. or similar.

All I know is my trip to USA and Europe with my wife next year is now off. She ain't boardin' no plane for a long haul flight without her lippy, eye shadow, perfumes, moisturisers and manicure equipment! Furthermore my favorite air travel Nike's have soles which are factory-filled with a un-identifiable liquid substance. And I am not going wear thongs!!

Ahhh, tell her to get over it, pack the lippy in the checked luggage and don't buy any duty free Bundy, I know this is a serious commitment ,but George Bush and the American Big Brother Cast are on your side,by the way Thomas Cook boots will make it through Customs on a good day so maybe the one that loves you should consder Cowboy boots as an alternative footware choice,
Regards,
