Chrysler is now making the move into prostock, by backing and providing Factory support to Lee Bektash and his Dodge avenger Pro Stock car.
The car is quick to say the least. It ran on the weekend at Mopar Sunday, ran a 7.2 and a 7.1  The car at mopar sunday.  A link to the run on mopar sunday. http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/f...rent=mopar.flv

Lee is a nice bloke, a real underdog with a predatory desire to WIN. It was fun pit crewing for him a few times back in 2000 with the Calibra Gaser. He had no sponsors, tiny budget and a crew of about 3 from memory. Killed 'em off the lights every time...still the king of the tree!
