Thanks very much GT. I wondered about the grille surround colour, but just thought it was effects of different lighting.
I appreciate your quick response. Thanks again.

This is likely compatible noting the similar part number https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-For...UAAOSwTwtfq9z6 and https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-For...YAAOSw9DNgLZuf and https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-For...UAAOSwyDNdt8gm etc

Hi GT -

Looking to source sunvisors, their clips, vanity lights, sunglasses holder and map lights, and centre roof lights plus handles from an FGX in shadow grey.

Are these still available?

Thanks!

Hi Qwerty,

Have a look at the images below and tell me part ID numbers for a start and we will take it from there. That way i know for sure what you want.

Hi GT -

Apologies. Got caught up with speaker upgrades and dynamatting.

I'm looking to upgrade the interior of an original 2009 FG G6ET. I've already done the main headliner.

I've marked up the bits I need from your original images -

On this one, I wasn't sure about the bits labelled with question marks for the centre light area -

My current centre light looks like this, (and I'll re-use off that whatever I can) -

To complete the job, I'd also be looking at A, B and C-pillar trims for both sides. For the B-pillar, I'd also need the coloured plastic bits that hold the seat belts on the adjusters.

Hope that makes sense!

Cheers,

Q.

So from your list, here is what is available and a price for each.

From the roof console/sunglass holder:

Because you need the sunglass holder door, as per image you have to buy the whole console which comes with everything in the outlined box with part ID 519A58. So you will also get the parts you dont need, but it will most probably be cheaper than buying individually and then you will have some spares. Only available in light limestone colour as the turbo shadow grey ones are obsolete. Looking at $130 for the light limestone one.

From the roof lining image:

RH/LH Sunvisors: Four to choose from. 1. Base model in light limestone colour. 2. G6E Light limestone. 3 XR with mirror insert Shadow Grey colour or 4 XR Shadow Grey Non Illuminated. All roughly around the $50 mark each but you need to decide which one you want.

Centre sunvisor retainer: choice of 2 based on colour, Light Limestone or Shadow grey, both $12 each.

Grab Handles: choice of two also based on colour, Limestone or Shadow grey, still available @ $20 each.

54310A is rear roof insulation

54310B is center roof insulation

51910B is a center foam spacer

52188 is a foam spacer

51910A is also a foam spacer.

13879 is BRACKET - INTERIOR LAMP, WITH REAR DOME LAMP (BASE SEDAN).

A pillar trim choice of 4 plastic in limestone or shadow grey or cloth in either colour. Price varies pending which one from $30-$160.

B pillar trim upper choice of two pending colour. $45

B pillar lower trim only 1 in shadow grey $35

C pillar trim choice of two pending colour: $50

Top B pillar trim cap choice of two pending colour $5 each.

B pillar seat belt cover, choice of two pending colour: $6 each.

I have just ordered this sunload sensor from ebay USA https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-For...UAAOSwyDNdt8gm I will let you know here how it goes compatibility wise. I will also test it and pull the old one apart to see what light dependent resistor or similar component it uses. EDIT: Damnation just found it cheaper here: https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...-19e663-a.html AU$85.15 including shipping. Ended up being able to get it there i.e. FordPartsGiant as I was still waiting for a shipping quote from the ebay seller.

Thanks for your efforts Blue.

Looks like we will need to do this sort of thing to keep our cars going forward once parts become obsolete.

GMH parts are also facing the same fate with stocks depleting and no replacements available anymore. The companies that made these parts must no longer be able to do or not have the need to make any more.

GTLEGEND really is a Legend, however he isn't a crystal ball reader so a Vehicle type and year would be most helpful.

If this is for a B series car, I'd also be interested in finding out if they're still available

BA XR8 ute under the message if that's what your asking for?

They are not available new anymore. You will need to try eBay or the alike or a Ford wrecker. I can suggest some places in Sydney if need be?

The catalogue has them described as Water Splash Shields. If its any help the RHF had a part number of BAF237A04B for a vehicle built after 1/1/2005 and the LHF BAF237A05B. Earlier BA's had a different part number being they are the same as I just mentioned but ended in a A not a B as a suffix for vehicles built between 1/7/2002 and 31/12/2004.

Try these places in Sydney:

I probably already know the answer GTLEGEND but no harm in asking, are genuine leads and coil packs available for the AUII XR8 ?.

Cheers.

Coil pack you need 2 of 7U2Z12029B which are obsolete here, but you can still find in the US. You can aftermarket Bosch units though:

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NOS-OEM-...4AAOSwY4Nep0zD

Leads also no longer available. They came in two sets, 1-4 XR2E12280AC and 5-8 XR2E12281AC.

Hi GTlegend

That HS2 bolt is what attaches the bar to the front guard but it isn’t showing what it screws into. Perhaps it might be part of the front guard diagram?

Appreciate your help

Description states: RETAINER - MOULDING, RH/LH, ATTACHES BUMPER COVER TO REINFORCEMENT.

Unfortunately I don't have an image of it at the moment, could try and get one on Monday if need be.

Hey mate, do ford still stock the decal that goes on the underside of the bonnet for a BA/BF 6 cylinder turbo?
I believe it was a belt diagram or emissions decal but not entirely sure.
Thanks!

I believe it was a belt diagram or emissions decal but not entirely sure.
Thanks!

There were two pending on build date for 6 cyl: 1/7/2002 to 30/9/2005 used BA29C485B then 1/10/2005-20/9/2006 used BAF9C485A. BF Vehicles built from 1/10/2006 did not have one as they were stopped being fitted in production.

No longer available from Ford, but places Grafix Unlimited might have reproduction ones.
