Thanks. It got painted the wrong colour to start with and i have had many dilemas in getting the car finished but now it is im getting extremely excited. You do miss your V8 when you haven't had it for a while.

PS Woody it will be at the All Ford Day in a few months on show and dyno. And i will be going for a cruise sunday afternoon down to surfers to show it of in the afternoon sun

Got to see the colour for the first time today and before its even been buffed it has a distinct red in it. Looks unreal!!! And its raining here at the moment so it should look even better in the sun

the rush is they have had it 3 months and i was supposed to pick it up last week until they painted it the wrong colour!!! They rang me at 3 and said it would be ready by 5 and when i turned up there was still a few hours work left on it.

I know the quality will be better then i expect as i have known the owner for a long time and he is the panel beater responsible for the sexy looking Triple 8 Vodafone cars. And The Jim Beam DJR cars

When it comes to spray painters and panel beaters, I would triple the time they quote to finish a job.

Not to get down on any here, they have some legitimate reasons for their time frames to be out. Like, weather for instance, emergency insurance jobs, paint not drying like it should etc.

So dont get down on them too much. What they promise and when they deliver is 2 seperate things in my books.

You got it in one peuty... You'll see it o the ext FPV club cruise. Picked up car this morning looks unreal : Is very overcast up here so cant see pearl as good but still looks a deep Burgandy colour from as far back as 20-25m then as you get closer goes a deep purple then into black. I couldnt be happier with the Job. And Rob and the boys at Logan Village Smash Repairs have exceeded my expectations in every way. It did take longer then expected but you cant rush Quality.

I have posted photos of car on my aufalcon.com site. It is raining here at the moment so it should look even better in sunlight. Aufalcon.com is the worst site for posting pictures on took me 30 min to get one on there then it put doubles ofthem up and deleted my other photos??? Are well there on there now. I will post some more when the sun comes out.

You don't think so? I could pick the color change right away.

Looks good, I'll reserve proper judgement 'till I see it in the sunlight.

I have all the old badges but i will be buying new ones to put back on.

B2TF as said above photos were taken this morning in the rain. I thought someone of your knowledge would know that pearl doesnt show up much without sunlight? I will post some pics up in the sunlight as the sun has just came out and then see if you can notice the colour.
