Default who here is currently doing uni exams??

hey all, tomorrow is my last uni exam for this semester...just about to start a day of study/revision. just wondering how many other ppl have to, or have already sat a uni exam.
this is my 3rd and final one for this semester, sat the first 2 monday and tuesday last week. first one (international trade III) went pretty well i feel, second one (public economics III), was quite frankly abysmal, however it was abysmal for everyone i spoke too afterwards too, so im hoping for a pass after the marks get scaled up which they will... The midterm only 7 out of 90 passed before scaling, after scaling (of 20%) only 17 passed lol. luckily i was one of them. tomorrow is money banking and financial markets III, should be ok i think, thats if i get off me a*** and study for it. good luck to all that have to sit exams

wow, your semester must start earlier than ours, although we did have week 13 to keep in line with other unis in south aus who start a week later than us (adelaide uni), so in effect we get 2 weeks swotvac..not that i made use of the extra week. same here, next semester is my last of my degree, 3 subjects aswell, all of which are extremly easy by all accounts. think ill do a post grad diploma next year tho...

I sat my last exam (constitutional law I) on the 16th. I've been enjoying the last 10 days of not having to study :. Who likes constitutional law? - Worst unit ever...

Yeah, it's pretty dry... but it probably depends on the lecturer too...

Had one last Friday, and got one more Thursday morning, then a few weeks off. Exams never get any easier, and I always promise myself "next time ill do more work during the semester", but I never do, and end up cramming the whole course into about a weeks worth of studying... :(

Only had one exam this semester, been bludging on break for last 2 weeks. Dont return to uni until 16 July. Ive got no cash and its been raining constantly, so ive decided to redo some old furnture ive got laying around.

Gotta love uni, 16 weeks of insanity and the rest total boredom.

lol, its more like 15 weeks of boredom, 6 or 7 days or instanity / cramming / exams, followed by more boredom till exams come about again. since 9am this morning, to now, ive pretty much learnt the entire course, pretty pathetic really. spose it does help that in my degree there is stuff all ongoing assesment, 30% midterm, 70% final, the midterm is usually redeemable. no need to write essays/assignments during the semester. i get good results overall, so im not complaining

Ahh, uni. Those were the days. Veging all day reading the (free) Herald Sun, going to the movies and occasionally going to class. Now days all I have to do is keep the boss off my back.

Hey M&Ms, that last year gets pretty frenetic doesn't it. I can remember the last year of my Mech engineering degree. Wow, stress inducing stuff. Hardly use any off it now, although that may change in a few weeks; getting a promotion, sort of. I'll be head engineer because the senior engineer is retiring, which if you knew me you would realise thats very scary for all involved lol!

Anyway, this old fart (I'm almost pushing 30) will get out of this thread.

3 exams down 3 to go (in as many days)... hardest 2 are coming up, analytical chemistry and organic chemistry, had experimental data analysis yesterday, for an exam worth 100% of the overall grade im fairly sure i passed. I had quantum phenomena and thermodynamics last week (both elective topics) should get a credit average from there....

Did my last exam on tuesday the 12th, and have now graduated from engineering (double computer systems). Started drinking at 1pm, was home by 9pm, and had to get my flat mate to untie my show laces. Was a rather pathetic attempt at a night out...

Now to enter the dole queues.

Yeh it's hard, but not impossible. Overall, my marks have been getting better as I progressed. Only had one fail and that was first semester of first year. I think as time goes on you get used to uni and probably become more mature and take it a bit more seriously. Especially if, like me, you do some work experience and take some time off uni, you really do get into it when you go back to full time study. I've even been nominated onto the 2007 Deans list of achievers, so that must be something!

BTW Toast Man, where did you attain your degree from? Just curious.. You can PM if you like... And wow, head engineer!! Which company and do you need graduates for next year?? :
