Default Wsid 18/07/2012

Anyone heading out tonight?

Track should be quite good as there was a meet on Saturday and it hasn't rained since.

11.008 @ 134.56 MPH was all I could manage, track was no grippier than any other street meet so that was a bit of a let down as I was expecting a nice grippy track.

Yeah, started with a 11.2 then went 11.1, 3 x 11.0's and last run I took off with more boost and just spun the tyres for an 11.3.

The Capri's last run looked very clean.

Also cant beleive they didn't boot Joe as he went 8.8 and 8.9, I got warned on each of my 11.0's, I wonder if they would have let me go again if I dipped into the 10's

yeah, the Capri was leaving the line nice, wheel up in the air to about the 60', very happy with that, the car always runs straight n smooth. got a bit squirrely 1 pass was something on the track.

Sorbello has shares in the track he is there every week. i think he said they said something after a pass. woulda been a good run if we lined him up 8.65 vs his 8.8

woulda been better if it ran an 8.37 again we aren't happy with the performance, but, happy the car ran smooth and didn't hurt anything. we drove out on the ET Streets also so was good not to have to change tyres at the end of the night

If you after a grippy track and good fun come along to the next TC round Cost $90 http://www.wsid.com.au/?m=events&a=event_page&id=177

Cost you $154 for a ANDRA number it last 12 months and gets you into test n tunes and plenty of other events with good track prep.

Although they are strict at andra events about meeting andra criteria ...

Over 120mph should have 4 point harness minimum . Even in the rules it states 115 mph too but never got pulled up .

You would have to check

Vevapower drove a mates car and went 10.5 @ 139 MPH and they didn't say a thing.
Maybe he was lucky but I only want to run a 10 and if they boot me then it doesn't really bother me.
