Hi guys,
I have had a fiesta for about 6 weeks now. I have noticed right from the beginning that the radio gets louder as you accelerate. I thought it was my ears playing tricks but someone else noticed it also. I have looked through the manual but it doesnt say anything about it being a 'feature' of the radio. Just wanting to know if this is supposed to happen? Thanks!! |

Hi Fast1
Yes, it's a feature of the stereo called AVC - Automatic Volume Control. See pages 81 and 82 of your manual for more info. Personally, I set turn mine off because I find it annoying. |

The other thing with the sterio is the Distortion reduction (CLIP). I found it turns the stereo down if you turn it up too high, however it turns it down too much and too quickly, so Off I turned that as well. Good luck! |
