Hey Phil, you're showing your age now, all that 80's stuff, then again I think I like all that you have as well.....

Try Fleetwood Mac - The Dance, and Les Mis, they come up great with good sound.

Cold Chisel, the one with the black cover and red writing i think

U2, its their latest tour one in Chicago I think

ACDC Family Jewels

(by the way I dont actually own those 3 they are my old mans but he has an awesome system in his lounge and many nights have been spent with the dvds cranked up with us singing at the top of our lungs slightly intoxicated... great times lol
I dont want to burn them because with good stuff I'd rather buy it properly!)

Also I have a Nickelback music DVD, and that one is awesome!

Nine Inch Nails: And all that could have been

Usually when you watch a live performance, you get the plus of the live atmosphere and lose on sound quality over the studio version. With this concert, the sound was excellent and the live performance added to it. To the point where I prefer some of the live versions over the original studio versions.
I don't have many music DVDs, but when I saw my friend's copy, I knew I had to have a copy of my own.

Green Day's Bullet in a Bible tour was very good- not a classic by definition but very enjoyable..........

My wife and I have watched that a few times in the home theatre room too- 100" screen, Denon equipment and Focal JMLab speakers and sub- we crank it and you wake up the next day feeling like you had gone to the concert the night before LOL

God bless home theatre........

This is a great topic, i love music dvds. I am even thinking of putting a DVD player in my car just to listen to them! But i have a CD version of most of the DVD's i have anyway.

My top three are:

The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Dire Straits - On The Night
Coldplay - Live 2003

Go the DVD player, I have one in the car. It's good to see as well as hear. I think when it's time to go aftermarket sound, I'll go 5.1 in the T.
