Why is it that when you visit a public hospital here in Perth, you have to pay $4:80c per hour to a Chinese owned company by the name Wilson Parking?
Nurses and staff too.

Bloody disgrace!

Why is it that people don't seem to have an issue with walking behind a reversing car?

Yeah, my car has a reversing camera and I can see you easier because of it, but if it didn't, I'd struggle to know you were there, especially considering I'm busy looking out for traffic approaching from the opposite direction to where you'd like me to keep an eye out for you.

Happens to me all the time, especially at IGA near me, they can see I'm backing out, actually moving and they walk past you then behind

Got to agree with you.

I’m trying to book a function centre or community hall for - you guessed it - a function, but do you think I can get an idea of cost(s) and availability ?
Emails, inspection visits, phone calls.
It’s not for a bikie orgy so why is it so difficult to get answers ???
If I’m asked a question about supply of goods and / or services I either supply a comprehensive answer or make sure that one is supplied pronto.
I guess other people are different ...

some people just can not drive.....

Hot on the heals of the farmer running into his own culvert comes this "aledged" trade guy who didn't have a clue, he hooks himself onto the upper hinge pin and decides no I won't stop, I'll keep going and rip apart the custom wooden gate and stonework.

Owner is furious and not a cheap fix.

Geeze, those magnets I stick in the walls work great.

Why is it.....they can have a presenter on the TV lotto set, saying they can't broadcast lotto draw live on tv but it will be drawn under supervision off camera due to galloping Covid. Imagine close to the same amount of people involved in either exercise.

Wow. Can o worms. I’ll reiterate. I grew up with cats. 23 years in fact. I wouldn’t own one after owning small dogs. But I’m completely happy for you who like them to have them. Your choice is ok

Why is it in some European countries they have a requirement to swap from winter to summer tyres and vice versa, yet in the top end of Australia where there is a wet and dry season there is no allowance for people to use slick tyres on vehicles? The grooves do nothing when there is no water.

Thought they may use studded tyres like they use in North America / Canada.

Because... surprise, sometimes it rains in Summer, if you'd been to the top end you'd know.

I have been to the top end. I know it rains in summer (wet season). But I also know that it does not rain during winter (dry season).

Melbourne has 4 seasons in one day, and the Yarra River floats upside down!.( all the sh.ts on the top )
But you have to love the Territory to live through the 2 seasons, the wet and the dry, you know when the wets about to stop, you get this crazy magnificent wind, it's the " knock me down wind" and it flattens all the long grasses that have grown up to 6 feet tall, the wind appears out of nowhere and that's it, no wet season

Winter tyres are generally for areas that have snowfall, something somewhat limited here in Australia. They are designed to cut through and grip in snow and ice.

Summer tyres are generally what is fitted to all Australian market vehicles. They are not suited to snow and ice.

The US market also have all-season tyres that have attributes of both winter and summer tyres.

Both winter and all season tyres have degraded levels of grip in dry conditions.
