$1100 just for the tft screen. it take us at asl to fit a facia around 1 hr, that includes taking the icc out, fitting the facia and refit icc in car.

Hi Fadi
It sounds like you really know your business. I have been considering purchase of a Terry for some time but need some questions answered about the sound system. I have always upgraded the stereos in my cars and intend to install my 2 Precision Power 1200 amps and my kicker solabaric sub and upgrade the front (and maybe rear) speakers.
I need to know if the premiem system has easily accessable (i.e RCA plug) line outputs (to run to the amps) or if this is something you could engineer more professionally (than one of those speaker to line level converters).
I also need to know if there is a trigger wire (to turn on the amps) and (i realise if this is not your area of expertise) what size the front and rear speakers are and whether there is much depth behind them (I prefer to keep to the same diam as standard but upgrading the speaker normally means bigger magnets and more depth).
And finally is there much space anywhere in the rear of the Terry to install a 12inch sub? The solabaric only needs 1cbft of space so i dont need much space but need at least 12inch diam on a rear panel somwhere and some space behind where i can fit a custom enclosure.
If you cannot help with these questions can you recomend anyone (preferably near me in North Sydney) who might be able to assist?
Thanks Fadi and good luck with what sounds like a thriving business.

So what is the process for just changing to a 6 stack? The green screen and all of the other goodies are fine (for now) I wouldl just like to get a 6 stack put in.

Does the whole unit have to be sent in for this as well? Or can it be installed simply.

So, if the DVD player can be mounted into the tissue box area,,does the plastic shelf need to be cut out of the dash to fit the player in?doesnt seem to be alot of room to mount a din sized unit.

Hi

Its up tp you where you mount the dvd player, we ususally mount them where the tissue box is or under the seat. You don't have to send anything down to us if you just buying the dvd kit, we supply it as a kit with instructions how to fit it.

Cheers

Ok i read it wrong, i though you wired the dvd player into the 6 stacker so you just put the dvd in like a normal cd. Is this at all possible to do.

No this is not possible. A DVD player cannot be wired directly into the ICC to operate like the normal existing cd player.

cheers

Hi all
I am looking at upgrading my xr8 ute to the 6 cd in dash unit.
Now when you all say premium sound, does that just mean the 6 stacker and tweaters that are fitted as the standard by ford. and if so is there any sound quality difference between the 1 and 6 stacker? I do understand that the tweater will help with the treble. If there is really no difference in sound just with the cd player then I will prolly just go the aux input and use my mp3 player.
Thanks in advance
Geoff

When upgrading to a 6 indash it just gives you the 6 stacker module, it has better output then the single cd....we can also supply with a RCA mod, coming out of the cd /radio module where u can connect an amp and control sub/tweeters and speakers. Basically speaker upgrade u have to go after market. go to http://asllogistics.com/ford_upgrades.html to view the rca mod we do.

Cheers

Hi there,

I have prestige sound in my BA 2 Ute. I have 6 stacker cd, and looking at the colour screen. Is the price for that just $1100.

Is there anyone in Sydney that can do this or will it have to be sent to you.

Matt

Hi

You can go to a ford dealership, there is a set up at thomson ford for the upgrades and cosmetics, speak to Allan stevenson in service or peter warren ford in smithfield speak to lou in service or brad garlick ford in ryde where you can speak to leon in service as well.

Cheers

Hi

It can be done its not a problem, you can deal with us directly by sending your Icc down to us to upgrade, where supply the sat nav as well when the upgrade is done, or you can go thru a ford delaership. Depending where you live, We recommend thomson ford in parramatta, speak to Alan Stevenson is service, Peter Warren in Smithfield, speak to Lou Axiak in service, or brad garlick ford in Ryde, speak to Leon in service as well. They will basically order the items for you, book in your car the next day. They will need your car for one day basically.

Cheers

Hi Fadi,
I am looking at upgrading to the Colour screen. I have premium sound in a BA MK1 ute.
I would also like to get a different coloured fascia, could you let me know what the colours are that are available?
I would also consider getting the DVD player, does the DVD player play DVD's when the car is moving or does it stop working when the hand brake is not on like some of them?
I am in Canberra so how would I go about getting this all installed?
Thanks,
Kate

Hi Kate

Slip is correct if you have the premium sound that means you already have the color screen unless its the prestige sound. Correct the system only works if hand brake is engaged, this is how we supply the instructions for the system to operate. We deal with audiotech in canberra, they pretty handy.

Cheers

Sorry I have the prestige sounds with the 6 disc stacker and 6 speakers in the the ute.
Does Audiotech install the screen and charge us more or is that included in the $1100?? Would they also install the different fascia?

Default Help with instructions

HI Fadi,
I just bought a territory SR model 2006 - I have had a Viscom roof-top dvd unit installed in it. I know it has audio and video out wires on top of the unit. At the moment only the audio wires are plugged as they come through the AUX in the icc.

I want to upgrade the ICC unit in my car now to a colour screen along with a reverse camera option. I have been quoted $800.00! just on labour to install your goods + $400 worth of wiring!. Can you tell me if there is a video in wire already in the roof going to the icc in the front? is the icc unti easy to install? have you got instructions on how to remove the unit to size it? would it be easy to install the video out from the roof to the front?

Regards

Ron

ps. can you give me your best pricing for the reverse camera, the icc colour upgrade and any other wires i might need so that I can get the video out from the roof-dvd player...

Thanks
