Any Mk 2 Escort diff will fit. Try and get the complete axle with drums and prop-shaft bolts (most important). You want to get it from a 1600 auto, unless you are running a 2lt. Does your car have metric or imperial wheel nuts/studs? I have a Mk 1 Van (1974) and everything is metric. Apparently some of the later cars were metric and some were imperial.

Assuming Quincy has a 1300 in his Escort, he'd need a 3:77 diff ratio (1600) and the diffs from autos tend to be in better condition. Original 1300 (3:89 ratios) are difficult to find and a 2lt (3:54 ratio) will just bog the car down around town.
